Our Journey Together V.1
As a photographer, I often feel I'm not making enough work of my two amazing children. Certain days I just want to be in the moment, other days I want our time together to be about them, not my work.
Last Wednesday we walked over to the beach and I was able to be make work from the heart and also be a child (as evidenced by the sand I'm still cleaning off my gear when they tackled me from behind!). I don't yell, I don't get frustrated when they move too quick. The work isn't scripted, just moments captured together. I love these two more than words can describe and today, that restless feeling of not making enough work isn't bothering me.

Anne & Marc, October 8th 2010
q
Anne & Marc had an intimate, outdoor ceremony in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, on a beautiful fall day. It was a homecoming of sorts and a great opportunity to fill up with love and energy from the place I call home. Anne and Marc were wonderful to work with and as always, it makes the experience. In addition to running The Abbaye, a restaurant with many great Belgian beers on tap, Marc plays percussion in Black Landlord. Check out the music here.

Judy and Matt's Black Tie wedding
a
Judy & Matt's wedding took place at The Union League in Philadelphia. Founded in 1862 as a patriotic society to support the Union and the policies of President Abraham Lincoln, it laid the philosophical foundation of other Union Leagues across a nation torn by Civil War. The Union League has hosted U.S. presidents, heads of state, industrialists, entertainers and visiting dignitaries from around the globe.
I wanted to make an elegant body of work from this elegant evening wedding, so I shot a lot of B&W film to accomplish that goal. For their flush mount album, Judy & Matt picked only Black & White images. It looks fantastic.
